Stephanie Schulte's Blog
Hi everyone, this is my first blog and posting. I teach elementary school to first and second graders in a brand new magnet school. I have taught in this multiage setting for 5 years (this is my 5th year). I have been married to my husband Jason for 6 years and we have a 3 year old son named Braiden. We also have a German shepherd named Rocco. I am excited to see how blogging works and how I can use it with my students and families.

ReplyDeleteThis Skype thing feels a little awkward to me but... what are you going to do eh? I tend to be available after 8:30 pm Eastern time... (I think I am 1 hour later). 8:30 is when I finish reading to my son. Any thoughts on going forward with?

ReplyDeleteI have learned a lot so far from everyone's web tool. Some of them I had never heard of before and they are very interesting. I teach first and second grade, so I could not actually use blogging with my students, but I could with my families. They could post questions or comments, and I could quickly respond. I could also put information on my blog site like upcoming events, reminders and homework for the week. I send home a newsletter each Monday, but I could post this information on my blog site instead!
